Mastering

In my view, the goal of mastering is not to impose the mastering engineer’s stamp on a mix. It’s rather to ensure that the sound vision of the mixing engineer and the artist’s taste are fully realised.
A great mix essentially already is very close to the master. Ideally, mastering only needs to support the mix with a refined polish and a brilliant finish.
However, a master can be the crucial step that augments a track. There are countless reasons why a mix may not sound entirely satisfactory in the end. And in many cases, the mastering process can intervene helpfully and even correct errors.
Regardless of whether you already have a great mix or it needs some extra attention to truly shine: before releasing your track, it is essential to ensure that it is technically prepared for distribution. I am more than happy to check and master your track. And provide you with all formats for streaming, download, CD, and vinyl.
Do you wish your master to be badged and marketed as part of the Apple Digital Masters program? No problem – I’m on their provider list.
